Overview

The main campus of Coventry University is based in the centre of England, in the city of Coventry with Coventry University London just an hour away by train. As a top five UK student city (QS Best Student Cities Index 2019) Coventry offers students the benefits of both a great city experience and a campus with a thriving community.

TheHub is the heart of student life on campus and a natural place to meet like-minded people and potentially life-long friends. Student experience is a priority for the university, which was proud to be ranked as the University of the Year in the UK for student experience (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019).

With 11,000 international students enrolled from over 130 countries worldwide making up a significant portion of the student population, there are plenty of opportunities to meet people from all over the world while studying one of the over 250 undergraduate and postgraduate courses available.

The Coventry campus is undergoing constant redevelopment. There is particular investment in specialist facilities such as the state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound Alison Gingell building, offering Health and Life Sciences students the opportunity to experience real-world healthcare scenarios with a fully equipped ambulance, operating theatre and sports therapy clinic. New social spaces on campus have been developed at the centre of student life, called TheHub. The university invested GBP 89 million in accommodation between 2016 and 2019, including Bishopgate, Godiva Place and The Cycle Works, which are all located within easy walking distance of the main campus.

All of the faculties place a strong emphasis on graduate outcomes, with employability units working to ensure students receive industry experience, mentoring and support to help them into a graduate-level role.
